Specifically, it'll save her from losing all of her health. This lets Goldmary be in the battle longer without being beaten by enemies. Roy can give the ability called Hold Out.Being a General also fits her base fighting style of being a backup, as Generals won't be usually up in the front. Utilizing that extremely high Defense and average Strength, she can pack a punch. Using Lyn and the Brave Sword could combat this, both having a speedy Emblem and good Strength to match it. The Brave Sword is a viable sword option for Goldmary, but it could slow her down in combat if not equipped with the right stats. The Hand Axe is a good range weapon to use, helping her stand in the back and not get into too much conflict, yet allowing her to attack from where she stands. Along with this, Goldmary will receive the Sword Power ability with the Silver Sword and Roy as an Emblem. It doesn't have any strong abilities specific to it or any major downsides that make it not worth wielding. While her Defense is naturally high, not taking many hits at all will make her very powerful against enemies and in supporting her team members.įor weaponry, the Silver Sword is a very solid base weapon. In turn, her lower Magic and Build will need some larger and more Magic-based characters to fill in those blanks. This is supported by her good Defense and Health. Her Build also has a 5% growth rate, starting out at 9. This is very small and will make it tough to handle magic weaponry, skills, or spells - giving her a heavier item won't work well, either. Her Magic starts at 2 and has a 5% growth rate. Goldmary will never be the best at wielding anything Magic. In her base class and stats, she's best paired with someone very offensive and in the front of a battle to create an equilibrium with her defensive nature. Supporting other team members is a backup's main goal, so it makes sense to have such high HP and Defense - perfect for taking the hit for weaker team members. Goldmary's stats reflect her backup status. While she joins the team with solid Speed as well, her speed growth rate is low compared to her higher growth rates. Each team is fresh, unique, and has a chance on the battlefield in its own way. Some characters start out with higher stats than others, better growth rates to specific stats, and all-around different abilities. This means having the strongest characters, team layout, and strategy. When characters can get knocked out and are never able to return to the battle again, each fight counts. There are so many ways a team, character, and fight can unfold.
